Replace or Upgrade Panel

Our team of electricians at Emergency Electrical offer a wide range of electrical repair services, including a variety of panel services.

A distribution board (also known as a panelboard, breaker panel, electric panel, DB board, or DB box) is an electrical supply system component that divides an electrical power source into subsidiary circuits while providing each circuit with a protective fuse or circuit breaker in a single inclosure. On more modern boards, the main switch is usually included, as are one or more residual-current devices (RCDs) or residual current breakers with overcurrent protection (RCBOs).

An electric switchboard is a device that distributes energy from a single or several sources to a large number of smaller outlets. It’s a collection of one or more panels, each containing switches for rerouting electricity. The main and distribution sections, which are the most frequent, are made up of multiple interconnected pieces that make up a switchboard. A combination section, which may execute the functions of both the previous sections, is occasionally used to replace these two sections. Auxiliary sections are sometimes provided on switchboards to house devices that cannot be housed in the same section as other devices.
